Sacramento Magazine

I did a photo shoot with the chef at Granito’s, a great restaurant in Granite Bay. It’s well-known locally as the place to go for garlic-lovers. I can’t wait to go back and try it out. I love photographing in my community and scouting out local treasures!

Sacramento Magazine

This was an advertisement shoot for a local, family-owned dry cleaning business. Since they are a delivery-based service, I wanted to incorporate one of their delivery vehicles into a shot of the owners’ families. With so many little ones in a shot it can be difficult to capture everyone at their “best”. This image was a Photoshop combination of several shots.

Sacramento Magazine

This local fly-fishing store wanted a large group shot for their upcoming advertisement. Using a wide-angle lens, I was able to get the whole group in the picture, as well as all the fishing poles in the background.

05.31.08 Brittany & Gary’s Wedding

This was in old town Sacramento at the Fire House restaurant. It was a great location full of rich tones and rustic textures. We were shooting with soft, morning light, which made it possible for us to get some cool images in locations that would be too bright during the afternoon hours. Plus, downtown Sacramento on a Saturday morning is pretty dead, so that made it easier to get great wide shots without bystanders popping in. We had a lot of fun taking advantage of our location!

05.28.08 Sacramento Magazine

We went and did a picture with Arden Dental Care for their ad in the next issue of the magazine. We added a few more people in than last time, it made it more fun that way.
