I was so excited to be shooting at Empire Mine! It is amazing up there, and Kathryn gave us lots of time for pictures. The ceremony was perfect, and the reception was an amazing party!

My wife and I flew to North Carolina, drove down to South Carolina, and stayed in Greenville to photograph my cousin Theresa’s wedding! I worked with Jenna at Flood doing Jr. High youth ministry. I was so excited to photograph her wedding and jumped at the chance. It was in downtown La Jolla at the La Jolla Women’s Club. It was beautiful.

We were in North County San Diego for this wedding. It was a little pice of land someone had turned into a beautiful wedding venue. I had never been there before, but you can see from the pictures that it was a little tike hawaii!

This wedding was at a relatives ranch in east San Diego. The weather started with thick thunder clouds, but right as the wedding was about to start, the clouds parted and the sun came through. Of course I didn’t expect that to happen so I didn’t have sunscreen on and burned like crazy!

I love shooting weddings that that allow me to spend the entire day in Balboa Park! The ceremony site there is classic and elegant…making for beautiful black and white photos. Plus, it’s so much fun walking around the park, finding those interesting bits of architecture to incorporate.
