I did a photo shoot with the chef at Granito’s, a great restaurant in Granite Bay. It’s well-known locally as the place to go for garlic-lovers. I can’t wait to go back and try it out. I love photographing in my community and scouting out local treasures!

The owner and chef of this restaurant have been in business for a while. They decided to take an already successful restaurant and completely change the theme and menu. they are going with a “green” theme and menu, which sounds like a smart move to me. This was a lot of fun! It was like a party at this shoot; everyone had great food and drink and practically the entire restaurant got evolved in the session. Plus, it was their busiest time of day. We went out to Natomas and photographed a setup for Xcaret, a Mexican food restaurant. I usually will have a snack before going and doing a shoot like this, but it didn’t work, I was defiantly hungry when I was all done.
