This was a great couple to photograph! They had a ton of energy, and were up for anything. We went to old town Sacramento and just walked around finding cool places to get some great images. We will be photographing their wedding at Empire Mine in Grass Valley in about a month, it’s going to be beautiful.

My cousin is getting married and I’m photographing her wedding in South Carolina! She and her fiance came to California to visit and we took them to San Francisco for the first time. We tried to squeeze the entire city into one day, I think we totally wore them out.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a couple laugh so much during their engagement session! They’re such a fun-loving pair; I can’t wait for their wedding. Jenna is a friend from church in San Diego; we volunteered in the youth ministry together until I moved to the Sacramento region. They’ve planned a December wedding in downtown La Jolla…an awesome location for photography!

We went to Wind & Sea beach for their session. Wing & Sea is always a great place, you really cant go wrong there. we got some great images of the two of them just having fun and hanging out.

Sally & Brook’s Engagement Session

Ive shot sessions all over La Jolla, but for some reason this is the first time Ive had a session at La Jolla Cove. It was defiantly fun, we ventured through the cave to the other side. It was a bit difficult navigating the tourists, but we managed. Im very excited for their Balboa Park wedding in July!

We headed out to Capitol Park in down town Sacramento and took advantage of the scenery. It was a Sunday evening, so there was no one around and it was like we had the place to our selves. Very cool couple, and their wedding is at the La Provence in Roseville. Im very excited about that!

Brittany & Gary’s Engagement Session

Brittany and Gary are students at the University of Pacific in Stockton. I had never been there and it is a beautiful campus! It was a very easy session, Brittany and Gary were naturals in front of the camera, and the scenery was perfect! Their wedding is at the firehouse in old town Sacramento. I cant wait to walk Brittany all around the cobble stone streets.

Jayne found me on kudzu.com when she was looking for a photographer in San Diego. Her wedding will be at Balboa Park, which is great because it is such a photogenic locations. We decided that an engagement session at the beach would be good because it would giver her a variety in locations when she puts all her engagement and wedding images together.

This couple is so fun and laid back! Tamara actually booked me online using the scheduling software that is on my website; I was excited to get some use from that. Iâ€™m really excited to see everything come together at their wedding. We will be going to a great French restaurant in East Roseville and it looks great inside.

Melissa & Jake’s Engagement Session

Elizabeth and I were in San Diego for an engagement session (this one) and also to help with a high school dance that same evening. We started the session in Balboa Park and then drove down town to the embarcadero. We walked around there for a while and finally ended up next to Petco Park. Of course there was a game and it was crazy crowded, but it was totally worth it. We got some really cool images with a variety of backgrounds. Down Town San Diego is a great place for pictures.

I have known Jann for a very long time, as she is the stepmother of one of my best friends. Their wedding is in Tahoe, and I am so excited to be at the lake photographing this one. It’s going to be beautiful scenery all around and it will be a great chance to see some close friends I havenâ€™t seen in a while. It will be a lot of fun to see Jann and Jack getting married!

We had a lot of fun at Balboa Park taking these shots! Laura and Mike ate into a little bit more a dramatic look so I got to be a little more creative with the images for them. Their wedding will be at sunset cliffs and then the Thursday club for the reception. Itâ€™s going to be beautiful!
